Hi, I’m Jon Ragnar Jonsson, a photographer and explorer inspired by the breathtaking beauty of my homeland and the power of the Icelandic nature.

For years, I’ve been capturing the dramatic landscapes, hidden wonders, and raw elements that make Iceland unlike anywhere else on Earth.

My work is driven by a love for adventure and a deep respect for nature.

From venturing into frozen glacier lagoons to chasing the ethereal glow of the Northern Lights, I strive to tell the story of Iceland’s untamed beauty through my lens. Each photograph I create is a testament to the landscapes I explore—whether it’s the heart of an iceberg, volcanic plains, or majestic waterfalls.
